Lois P. Glasgow, Ph.D.

lois glasgowLois Glasgow understands the struggle to find a career that really “fits” and feels right, because it took her several tries and many years to find the right one.

An undergrad accounting major, in her first career, she worked as a CPA at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. After a couple years, she moved into banking, first in a finance role, and then completing the training program to become a corporate lending officer. This was closer to what she wanted, but still not a perfect fit.  Ultimately, she started over by taking the prerequisite classes needed for acceptance into a clinical and counseling psychology masters program at Southern Methodist University.  Later she finished her Ph.D. in psychology at the same university.

Since 1995, she has assessed, evaluated, and interviewed thousands of applicants for professional roles and also coached business professionals in a variety of settings.  Through her work with executives, she has learned many secrets about what makes people successful in organizations.  She has a passion for helping people of all ages figure out what type of work aligns with their natural gifts and interests, then assisting them in making a successful start in their chosen field.  There is no greater satisfaction for her than to see someone gain confidence and get excited about their career as they unlock their potential and find a good match for their skills and interests.

Lois has earned the loyalty of many because of her sound insight, good judgment, and caring way of delivering a hard-hitting, on-target message.

A member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), American Psychological Association (APA), Society of Consulting Psychologists (SCP), Society of Psychologists in Management (SPIM), and Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychologists (SIOP), Lois is also active in various local professional organizations.
